I've stayed in this property before it's better than it was seem like it's on an improvement still have to get refrigerator correct air conditioner was kind of messed up staff was great just basically the amenities and a few "insects" I'll put it that way

Missed flight

Wanted a place close and affordable near EWR. after missing flight. Comfy bed and good enough bath and toiletries . Called to see if there were breakfast options and the nice lady said they had a grab and go complementary box. Negatives were smoky and soiled looking check in reception.

Not a normal Ramada Hotel

This Hotel doesn't represent the Ramada brand. No Breakfast, an overall odor in the entire hotel. The only positive was it is close to the airport.

Friendly enough staff, very worn property with stale air in room. Bathroom was quite clean.Grab and go breakfast was CheezIts, soda, bag of raspberry cookies, bag of chocolate chip muffins and a clementine. Car felt safe in lot.

Worse hotel in the area

Area where hotel located was no a good area. I didn't feel safe. People appeared to be just hanging out. Hotel looked dirty. Bed was not comfortable at all could feel the springs in the mattress. Will never stay there again.

I made my reservation clearly stating that the payment would be made only upon check-in. However, the hotel charged the full amount in advance, plus a deposit, without notifying me or requesting authorization. No one called or emailed me before charging my card. The check-in process was fast — and honestly, that was the only positive part of my stay. When I entered the room, the floor was dirty, the toilet paper holder was broken and lying on the floor, and the toilet paper itself was dirty and placed on the sink, clearly having fallen to the floor before. The entire hotel smelled strongly of cigarettes, including the hallways and elevator, even though I specifically booked a non-smoking room. I don’t smoke, and neither I nor my family should be forced to stay in such an environment. I went back to the front desk immediately and spoke with the general manager, who told me there were no other rooms available but that he would send someone to “clean” it. A man and a woman came to the room, but instead of cleaning, they sprayed Febreze on the floor and wiped it with a mop — that’s not cleaning; that’s ridiculous. I mentioned the broken toilet paper holder, and they said only maintenance the next day could fix it. At that point, I was too tired to find another hotel. I had been driving for hours and attending an event all day, so we stayed — but only because we had no choice. The bathtub was filthy; we had to shower wearing flip-flops.
