Check in went prompt and effortlessly. Room was clean and orderly. Beds were ok, on the Firm side. AC worked well. Parking was challenging. Would recommend for a couple nite stay. Did not have a chance to visit restaurant for dinner however appeared Very clean and decorative nice. They have a bar.

The room was very nice and clean. It was a little small, but we all fit. I liked that check out was at noon. Although there isn’t breakfast included, they have the menu of a place nearby that delivers for free. The food was good and not that expensive.

I had to book a last-minute stay in the city, and the hotel accommodated me immediately, which I truly appreciated. The location was very convenient, especially being close to Newark Penn Station, making it easy to get around. Check-in was quick and seamless, and my room had a great view facing the city. Overall, a smooth and comfortable experience when I needed it most.

If you need reliable internet, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Also, when I asked the staff about the airport shuttle schedule, they told me it runs every half hour during the daytime. But the next morning, when I went to the front desk with my luggage, I was told I’d have to wait an hour for the next shuttle. The drivers were friendly, though.

There was dried snot on the long pillows , the ac didn’t work they said it was shut off when it was like 75 degrees out . The staff were alright . Parking was close. That’s probably the only plus with this hotel

Booked 1 night for my husband travels, he said it's nice and clean room, and better staying at the Doubletree by Hilton in NY. Self parking is $23 vs $60 in NY - we'll stay here again for our future NY trips. He is happy with his stay last night - Thank you Robert Treat Hotel.

The check in staff need to be educated on how to greet people and guide them and show them how to use the key card on the elevator. Me and 3 other guest at different times were stalled in the elevator because we were never told that you had to scan the key card in order to get to your floor. I was shown by a maintenance staff and I showed the two other guest. And they commented the same issues about the front desk staff. So be prepared to ask them which direction the elevator’s are and how to use the key card on the elevator. The security guard was awesome he helped us with our luggage to store for us since we arrived super early. The shuttle drivers were absolutely amazing gave us information on how to use the Penn Station and the early morning shuttle driver was great as well. Hotel beautiful, clean and nice historic area.
