"I had explained to staff at check in that I had a sprained ankle we were never told that the elevators would be out of order the next day. we were on the 5th floor and I had to go down the stairs with a badly sprained ankle which caused lots of pain and swelling. Had we known that the elevators were going to be down we would have requested to stay at a lower level. we asked for towels which took 2 hours to arrive house keeping opened the door with a do not disturb sign on the door while we sleeping. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. One of America’s Historial hotels. Room was in the small side but that goes with the history. We had dinner in the restaurant which was gorgeous and very reasonable and the breakfast (not included) was fab."
