"Very clean room and the images on hotels.com were accurate in person. Enjoyed the onsen and staff were friendly and helpful. The location was best aspect of this hotel, it being in the centre on china town and close to all the tourist attractions."

"Breakfast was a little expensive but the only time we had it, the food was abundant and a huge variety. The facilities, staff, cleanliness were everything I expected and more. The location is very convenient and the staff incredibly helpful. "

"We had a private room on the third floor with shared bathrooms. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient. As has been commented on previously, sound travels easily in the property and the doors to the rooms do little to stop noise."

"Great location, clean and tidy. No safe in the room! (Not sure how this would go down with travel insurance if you had items stolen. Unlikely in Japan, but not impossible) Shower over bathtub is not as good as many of the newer hotels walk in showers. It’s easy to get to on the tram from the train station, just be aware if it is any kind of holiday or festival, the tram will be rammed and you will have to wait a long time for it. Made worse if you have luggage. So get a taxi if that’s the case."

"I'm sensitive to strong cleaning/chemical products, and I had a slight reaction, so it could be better, but overall the smells didn't affect me much besides a slight reaction in my respiratory passages. The pans all had a Teflon-like coating, which are damaging to health, so I had to go buy a stainless steel pan. I would have appreciated a toaster oven."
