"Lovely old hotel conveniently located to all the sights of Antwerp, but in a mostly residential area that is quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxed environment. The building is beautiful, but be aware that you’ll need to climb plenty of stairs; if that’s a problem, choose a more modern hotel with an elevator! I enjoyed my night here and would stay here again if I return to Antwerp. My room was basic, but I slept well, and that’s what really matters at a hotel."

"Great overnight stay on my journey from Denmark to the UK.
Everything was really great.
At arrival I was at first a bit disappointed to find that their parking spaces were full and that I had to go find one outside the hotel, but parking was very easy to come by on the streets outside the hotel and it’s free. "

"The hotel was in a great area with lots of options for bars (cafe hopper, patine) and dinning (den artiste brasserie was good). It is around a 20 min walk from the main square (grote market/de kathedraal) and theatreplein (where there is a good market and you can get fresh fruit/vegetables, fresh waffles, croquettes/cava amongst other things).
Hotel wasn’t the cleanest (sheets and towels were found stained), bugs in room, safety deposit box and room phone didn’t work - when asked for working...

"Food, wine, and staff were amazing. When we come back this is our new home away from home. The room was a touch cold, but they tried to rectify it as soon as we told them.
