"Loved the location, facilities, wellness, and how comfortable the hotel was. Unfortunately the tv in the room didn’t work and the hotel was having problems with the wifi so that explains the tv also. Overal 9/10"
"Excellent boutique style B&B. Daniel and Linda were perfect hosts. Lovely freshly prepared breakfast. 1 minute walk to tram into Antwerp centre/railway station. Good base for visiting Brussels, Ghent and Brugges. Local restaurant/bar the Café Exter well worth a visit. Plenty of local parks for a gentle stroll. Thoroughly enjoyable break."

"Lovely old hotel conveniently located to all the sights of Antwerp, but in a mostly residential area that is quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxed environment. The building is beautiful, but be aware that you’ll need to climb plenty of stairs; if that’s a problem, choose a more modern hotel with an elevator! I enjoyed my night here and would stay here again if I return to Antwerp. My room was basic, but I slept well, and that’s what really matters at a hotel."

"Appartamento a pochi passi da una fermata del tram particolarmente strategica e con negozi letteralmente a due passi, arredato con gusto ma estremamente attento ai costi, abbastanza grande ma non particolarmente pratico (armadi troppo piccoli, disposizione dei locali "curiosa"). Nota negativa per pulizia, davvero carente, e anche la comunicazione delle informazioni non è ottimale anche se, quando sollecitati, rispondono rapidamente."
"Ons verblijf bij De Gulde Schoen is ons wederom supergoed bevallen. We houden van de luxe uitstraling en goede kwaliteit van afwerking van de ruimtes. Van de matrassen op het bed die heerlijk liggen tot aan het kopje koffie uit het Nespresso apparaat, alles klopt gewoon. En dik pluspunt is dat wanneer je de deur uitstapt je midden in het centrum staat. We hebben weer genoten!"
"Wonderful boutique hotel in city centre of Antwerp, walking distance from most highlights, easy access to public transport. Our duplex room had an amazing private roof terrace with views on the skyline and the wonderful Antwerp Cathedral. The bathing products by atelier rebul are a treat. Only disadvantage being in the lively centre is that there can be loud street noise due to partying people. Would recommend for weekend away! "
"Super locatie, aan het begin van het centrum, goed te bereiken. Enige nadeel was alle geluiden die je hoorde van de tramkant ook al waren de ramen dicht.
Eten deden wij bij de Korean tegenover het hotel, erg lekker en goed met de prijs.
Zeker de moeite waard om het hotel te bezoeken. "
