"A gem in the midst file of Redwoods. We were not expecting the level of detail in making the room comfortable for tbd guest. The whole place is well thought ou"
"This is an amazing property. It was beautiful and quiet. We stayed in cabin 1 and could see the river from our porch. Easy river access as well as a sauna. The sweet lady at the front desk was very accommodating and gifted us a bag of ice when we ran out. The cabin we cute and quaint, with basic cooking necessities. It was just the relaxing break we needed. Can’t wait to plan my next trip back! "
"Great property. Really enjoyed the comfort of the stay and the breakfast! We stayed on the first floor which did have very poor wifi in the room. If you require good wifi, my only recommendation would be to ask to stay on anofher floor. Overall very happy with our stay and would visit again. "
"A beautiful historic Inn with memorabilia that brings back the era of grand old homes and genteel families. Gorgeous furniture, wonderful staff, courteous and friendly service.

"The room was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Easy on and off the freeway, yet not so close it could be heard. The owners are obviously in the process of remodeling the property, but the room we had had been very nicely redone. We appreciated the one story. "
"It was a nice room with comfortable bed, big fridge and microwave, nice TV, easy check in. The only thing I didn't like was that the toilet was very short, similar to those in elementary schoold, which made it challenging to get up and down. Otherwise, it was a good budget hotel."
"The location was perfect, if you replaced the matress and pillows you will have happier customers. I recommend a different color of towels, they look dirty and dingy. "
"We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...
