This rating is based on the issue that is an urban hotel where our windows sat adjacent to the windows of the next building, thus not encouraging moving the dark drappes. As for breakfast, you get to decide from three options for each day and it would be delivered at the time of your choice to your room. For us it was a time saving event by facilitating meeting early morning excursions. Some may want the comfort of eating out....

"This place is ideally located for seeing the sights of Zagreb. It was very clean and instructions were clear. We felt safe. There is a faint odor of gas which is not entirely uncommon in older European buildings and just meant we needed to open the window when we first returned to the room. "

"It was a sound proof room. We had a king size bed, the mattress was from not soft. There were large pillows, 2 firm and 2 soft. When you turn of the lights in the bathroom, the exhaust fan takes a few minutes to turn off automatically. The breakfast was great. We had hot cheese omelet made and there was scrambled eggs at the buffet with sausages and some veggies like different bell peppers and olives.
