"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had the beautiful loft room overlooking the canal.it was even better than the photos. The room was spotlessly clean. Every morning we enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The staff was wonderful and we loved the quiet walks along the canals to get to the center of town (about 15 mins). We would definitely stay again."

"The rooms are located right at the walking center of Leiden in a lovely restored building on one of the loveliest canals. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Turn left out the door to the public market and the main shopping streets. Turn right to the lovely Pieterskerk (c 1221), many nice restaurants on the Cloksteg and the old academic buildings of the venerable Leiden University and it’s famous gardens."

"Location was a stone throw from Leiden central station which convenient if you are travelling to nearby places. About a 5-10 min walk to the city center. Room was a good size and comfortable. Shower pressure was great! And the bathroom size is good. Note that the bathroom has frosted windows and is see through, it can be covered with curtains (from the outside). "Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc). Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our visit. They generously allowed us to store our luggage until 5:30 p.m. after check-out so we could spend the day doing research at the university library. Since the front desk is not staffed after 2:00 p.m., they clearly explained how to contact them. When we called, they immediately opened the door remotely so we could collect our luggage. It was a very clever and convenient system, and everything worked...

"Het is een net en schoon hotel. De kamers zijn goed geïsoleerd, dus oordoppen zijn niet nodig. De locatie is prima, je kunt er goed parkeren en voor het hotel stap je zo op de bus richting het centrum/station, waar je ong in 7 minuten bent. Het ontbijt is goed, uitgebreid. Dat mag ook voor die prijs. Ik zou het zeker aanraden als je wilt overnachten in Leiden."

"We arrived late so no reception but instructions were clear to get to room. Unfortunately the hotel and room smell like a barn but u get used to it. We woke up early to a ton of seagulls attacking the garbage bags for a few hours starting at 4:3am that was in bags just beside the hotel. I don’t know if I would rush back to this place. But the breakfast and receptionist at Rembrandt were good and the location is nice (other than being beside two big garbage bins) Thanks."

"Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Man muss auf dem Weg zu den Zimmern durch das Restaurant an den essenden Kunden. Mit Kinderwagen und 2 Koffern, wurden die anderen Gäste etwas gestört. Ansonsten alles gut"

"Le parking, l emplacement pour les ballades en vélo, près du centre également. Très bon petit déjeuner, personnel très sympa. Seul bémol pas de clim dans les chambres !!!"

"Wij vonden het erg mooi. Mooie en heel belangrijk schone kamer. Mooie ligging. Heel vriendelijke en voorkomend personeel. Wij waren er omdat we naar soldaat van oranje gingen maar we komen zeker een keer terug!"
