"We had a wonderful stay at The Crane Resort in St Philip, Barbados. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. Our suite was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The resort itself is stunning, with lovely surroundings and a fantastic atmosphere. A truly enjoyable experience, and somewhere we would happily return to!"

"Absolutely lovely stay. Upon arrival to your departure staff are truly kind and helpful. I asked about car rentals and the front desk shopped around for a few options to offer me to suit my needs. Shernada and Heather at the front desk were lovely. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped while the property grounds were well manicured. A lovely stay and would come back again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Bay Barbados, and one of the biggest reasons was the people. The staff truly made the experience special. Kai, Akiel, Kay, Destiny, and Devon were absolutely amazing. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable. It seemed like everywhere you turned, someone was greeting you with a smile and a hello. That kind of genuine hospitality is something you can’t teach, and it speaks volumes about the people who make this resort what it is. The resort itself was clean and welcoming, the food was good, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Sugar Bay has a lot going for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. That said, there are a few areas where management could make some relatively simple improvements that would go a long way toward elevating the overall guest experience: * Front gazebo: The stockpile of old mattresses near the front gazebo needs to be removed. It’s not the first impression you want guests to have. * Beach cleanliness: The beach should be checked and cleaned daily, including removing discarded cups and other debris. * Dirty dishes: We noticed dirty dishes with leftover food being left out for days. This is something that should be addressed promptly. * Beach bar signage: The missing or damaged letters on the Sugar Bay branding in front of the beach bar need to be replaced. Easy fix for 5 stars"
