"Small rooms"

"Don’t stay here. Very poor quality hotel. Good location but that’s about all there positive things I can say. I had other guests and staff walking into my room three times at 1am due to mix up during check in. Another guest was given my room key and walked in. After she left the reception staff came up and let themselves in to check what was going on. After I explained who I was and this was my room he came up again and demanded ID to prove I was who I said I was. I was in bed at the time. Breakfast was terrible, hotel was in bad need of a deep clean and update. Very noisy due to poor windows and street front location. Don’t stay here."

"The hotel is on the historic register and the integrity of an historic building has been well preserved. The bathroom was modern and immaculate. In addition to the cleanliness, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect to explore the old city area of Philadelphia. On my next visit to Philadelphia, I will stay there."

"Rooms need some updating "

"A lot of the lighting fixtures in the room didn’t work. There wasn’t enough outlets placed in ideal locations. Also, we didn’t have hot water for a whole night."

"Surprised the hotel doesn't have free coffee 24/7 in lobby. Rooms were ok but missing suitcase stand. Room telephones were unusable due to static while trying to talk to main desk. All minor expectations / problem. Staff was very courteous and professional. "
