"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had the beautiful loft room overlooking the canal.it was even better than the photos. The room was spotlessly clean. Every morning we enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The staff was wonderful and we loved the quiet walks along the canals to get to the center of town (about 15 mins). We would definitely stay again."

"The rooms are located right at the walking center of Leiden in a lovely restored building on one of the loveliest canals. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Turn left out the door to the public market and the main shopping streets. Turn right to the lovely Pieterskerk (c 1221), many nice restaurants on the Cloksteg and the old academic buildings of the venerable Leiden University and it’s famous gardens."

"The building and location are lovely. The suite was nice but a bit worn down—it would benefit from some TLC given the price. A staff member who helped us check out was lovely and kind. The staff member who helped us check in was unhelpful and very sour, borderline rude. Not a good fit for the hospitality business. Warning; though the room was advertised and billed for 4 people, when we asked for linens for the sofa bed they charged us 50E. On the other hand, there was no compensation for...

"Location was a stone throw from Leiden central station which convenient if you are travelling to nearby places. About a 5-10 min walk to the city center. Room was a good size and comfortable. Shower pressure was great! And the bathroom size is good. Note that the bathroom has frosted windows and is see through, it can be covered with curtains (from the outside). "Perfect spot in the heart of Leiden. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Walkable to train, shops, cafes, restaurants and cultural sites."

"I was happy with the room, which included a large, comfortable bed and a convenient desk. But I didn't like that there were no insect screens in the windows, forcing one to choose between having the lights on at night and sleeping in a hot room. The coffee cups were so poorly designed that the average person's finger wouldn't fit through the handle and that you burn your finger holding the cup. A fridge would have been nice too, but you get what you pay for."

"Check in und out war am Terminal nicht möglich. Kein Personal vor Ort, erst durch Anruf kam jemand. Parkgebühr zahlen ja, aber kaum ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden."

"Nice clean property. Friendly staff. Very close to trains and buses. Only concern is they automatically turn off AC at midnight and it can get very warm if you don’t get up and turn it back on"

"Wir waren nur 1 Nacht im Hilton in Leiden. Zimmer war sauber und das Bett (Kingsize) sehr bequem, allerdings gibt es nur eine große Bettdecke. Ich mag es lieber, wenn jeder seine eigene Decke hat. Aber vllt Geschmacksache. Silikon in der Dusche sollte erneuert werden. Die Duschtür schließt nicht richtig (Zimmer 411) somit „flutet“ man leider das kleine Bad. Wir würden wieder kommen ☺️"

"Clean, well -run, loved the quirky decor. Although it"s on a busy little street with bars and "coffee shops" and there can be noise at night, it"s very secure (four automatically locking doors between our studio and the street). Central and close to the station. You can easily do day trips all over the Randstad. The staff are very nice. Don't worry about arriving when reception is shut, the digital keys work."

"Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft. Man muss auf dem Weg zu den Zimmern durch das Restaurant an den essenden Kunden. Mit Kinderwagen und 2 Koffern, wurden die anderen Gäste etwas gestört. Ansonsten alles gut"

"We arrived late so no reception but instructions were clear to get to room. Unfortunately the hotel and room smell like a barn but u get used to it. We woke up early to a ton of seagulls attacking the garbage bags for a few hours starting at 4:3am that was in bags just beside the hotel. I don’t know if I would rush back to this place. But the breakfast and receptionist at Rembrandt were good and the location is nice (other than being beside two big garbage bins) Thanks."
