The Prince Park Tower Tokyo - Preferred Hotels & Resorts, LVX Collection
4/10 Poor
"The toilet smells really bad. Also the room is very hot when you enter. You have to put your key in the slot when you walk in the room which takes it 1-2 hours to cool down. For the rating of this hotel that it’s ranked which is 5 star it’s not. I would give it 3 stars. Also don’t eat downstairs it’s insane expensive at the b2 level. I paid 250.00 for myself and wife for food that cost us 65.00 outside the hotel area"
"Location was excellent. I would stay again just for that. 20mins by train from Haneda and JR line is right there makes for convenient travel.
We made use of the Laundry facilities it was reasonable for hotel facilities and they had lots of machines.
We had a corner room on the main tower. Rooms were clean and relatively large for Japanese standard. We manage to find room for 1 large and 1 medium luggage.
The rooms are dated as per most reviews have stated. There are some stains in the hallway carpet. And I noticed a patch to fix damaged carpet in our room also. This does not bother us.
We opted out the breakfast. We just visited the 7-11 on the second floor for breakfast everyday.
Staff was helpful at check in and when I wanted to send an Amazon order to our room. They helped me filled out the delivery address. Pick up was also easy.
Overall I recommend the Shinagawa Prince hotel. Yes it is dated and need some renovations but if you are not picky about your room not being in the latest trendy style and just need a clean room and convenience this hotel is for you."
"This was my first stay at an Intercontinental hotel, needless to say I will definitely be returning. From the beginning of my arrival to the check out, I was treated like a king by all the staff. I didnt have to lift a finger getting my luggage from my cab to my room or my room to the airport. Check in was seamless. The daily breakfast buffet was delicious with so many options, the teppanyaki restaurant, incredible, steakhouse delightful. The sushi spot also to die for. Especially the matcha shaved ice. The Mixx lounge served great cocktails and was a awesome place to chat with other travelers.
My room was very comfortable and well equipped. Granted coming from the States it will seem smaller than what we are used to but in Japan its all about quality over quantity. Everything in this resort is well thought/planned out. That's how nice this place is. I didnt even want to leave my hotel to explore Tokyo. I highly recommend this hotel, great value for the amount spent."
