"The best location, views and luxury room! Beds were SO comfy, room was HUGE and immaculate. Highly recommend over staying In Lucerne- website does not do this hotel justice. Only downside was no robes in room and my room was missing a coffee pot-our friends had both items in their room so probably a fluke! "

"When we got there it turned out that Hotels.com messed up on our reservation and the hotel never received it and had already filled up all their rooms that night. The owner went out of his way to find us another guesthouse nearby, and allowed us to go back the next day to store our luggage while we went up Pilatus."

"The location was amazing, even though the road to the house is up the hill, on top of a mountain and very narrow. 2 cars cannot pass each other when the road is at 4000 ft elevation. The listing was wrong. Since travelling with family and kids, I wanted the whole house and that's how I reserved it. 3-days before my check-in, I was informed that the house is shared and I will have to share even the bathroom with other people. This was not what I paid for. So basically I paid for the whole house,...

"Owners are a very nice, friendly couple. Remote location from Luzern. No breakfast but were offered free coffee or tea. Ten francs to use grill. Shared bath (not private as advertised). Room size OK for two but "No picnic in room!" We did not see any "free toiletries" and initially were provided only one bath towel to use for two people."

"The room was clean and had all the necessities. The kitchen had silverware, plates, pots, pans, and an espresso machine. The bathroom was clean, and the tub was spacious. The bed was comfortable. "The Hotel Central Luzern is a city property, so access to shopping, dining, and transportation are readily available. The walk to the covered bridge leading to Old Town was literally a four-minute walk away. The front desk staff was excellent - very accommodating and informative! They also lent us umbrellas to use on our first day due to some persistent rain. Our room was clean and housekeeping kept it that way during our stay. Bedding was very comfortable! The shower and bathroom were clean and of an acceptable size. The property has a breakfast/lounge area and balconies off of the lounge room. This was nice just to get out of the room. We would definitely stay here again!"
