"The hotel staff is very attentive. Rooms are well arranged with modern decor. Bed is very comfortable. Room was very soundproofed and dark when curtains are closed. "
"Interesting older hotel. Fire doors every 4-5 rooms. Lots of stairs. There is an old rickety elevator if you are on floor 2 or higher. Bed is a ok, but could use a cushioned mattress pad. Ok for an overnight stay before a cruise, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than that! There are a lot of restaurants and eateries close by."
"The location was walkable to everything in the charming town of Southampton. We stayed a couple nights before getting on a cruise ship. I recommend it! The room was very small but the location was very walkable to restaurants and around the block to Notre Dame Cathedral. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly! A+++

"Nice place, but no lifts. For older people, it can be very difficult to carry luggage upstairs. They will store it for you if you don’t really have to have it during your stay. Tubs are a little difficult for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, a nice place."
