We were greeted kindly at the front desk by a gentleman who checked us in quickly and even gave us a free room upgrade to a poolside villa . "Great resort and pool area. We were not aware the beach was considered public property and not maintained by the hotel- although they offered chairs and cabanas. The water was rougher than expected and an unusual amount of seaweed from El Niño."
