"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good."

"We pre booked and paid for dinner only to find at check in that dinner wasn’t available and we had been booked at a pub 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t want to drive again we wanted to eat and relax after a day of travel. As there wasn’t an alternative we didn’t go to the pub where the main course was fine but not what we wanted. Had we been informed that dinner wasn’t available we would have booked elsewhere."

"Classic English accommodations. An updated old Inn, I'll guess 1700s, complete with neighborhood pub on ground floor. Ceilings are still low, hit my head, but learned quickly. I got room 3, a little noisy from staff congregation outside, get a diff one yourself. Old timey pull chain on toilet , hilarious. Cool little village too, with fish n chips shop, but the fish n chips in The Crown Inn restaurant were great. We stayed here purposely for the UK experience vs boring corporate hotel marble...

"Property in general is looking a bit tired and in need of some modernisation and updating, bathroom wasnt the cleanest unfortunately with stains at the bottom of the toilet, shower gel bottles just left randomly in the bathroom and the area around the sink not great either. That being said the sauna, pool area were very nice and clean, view was ok although some dining guests could see into my room which wasnt great but slept well and felt refreshed so as a whole not too bad at all"

"For the price, not worth it. The hotel itself was fine. There were some annoying things that stood out though. For example, if you need to use a hair dryer, they provide one but there's no plug in the bathroom. And when you use it outside of the bathroom, there is no mirror with a plug nearby. We also had the front desk help us schedule taxis to take us to the cruise port. Beware...we waited for more than 30 minutes and only one taxi arrived (we needed two). "The room was super small, but the bathroom was decent size with a great shower. We had to store our luggage downstairs at the desk as only our carry ons could fit comfortably on the room. The breakfast that came with the room was the best we have ever encountered. We could order off the menu which had a good selection w/ great coffee and fabulous service!"
