"I spent couple of days at this hotel and at the time was happy with the hotel and location was ideal for what we wanted to use it for. I booked through Expedia and on check out I said the hotel should be pad for already, the receptionist said no the money held s only for security and I need to pay. When I went to pay the receptionist tried to charge me 20 euros more then agreed but I didn't notice and put my chip and pin in and paid. He then apologised and gave me back 20 Euros in cash. "Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! Lovely

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and genuinely caring staff, the Splendid Hotel is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"
