"The English needs to improve "

"El hotel está bien para su precio, pero deja mucho que desear en temas de servicio. Particularmente el personal de recepción atiende de manera muy antipática, sin ganas de darle la bienvenida a los huéspedes, dejando una pésima primera impresión. No nos explicaron prácticamente nada del lugar: horarios, restaurantes, actividades, la app, etc. Tuvimos nosotros que preguntar todo para obtener la información. Nos atendieron tres personas diferentes en recepción y pareciera que a todos les indican hablar sin ganas. Además, se siente una marcada diferencia en el trato hacia los mexicanos comparado con los extranjeros y los huéspedes del "Elegance Club" en todos lados menos en los restaurantes. A las instalaciones les hace falta mantenimiento y limpieza. Los elevadores tienen dañados los botones y en las habitaciones muy pocos de los enchufes funcionan. La mejor comida la encuentras en el restaurante buffet Flavors, los restaurantes de especialidad no tienen nada de especial en cuanto a los platillos aunque sí están decorados de acuerdo a la temática. Mi esposa y yo estábamos celebrando nuestro primer aniversario, cosa que confirmamos tanto en el pre check in como en el check in cuando nos preguntaron. Sin embargo, resulta extraño que te pregunten si celebran una ocasión especial y no te dejen un detalle en la habitación. No fue sino hasta contactar con Kristel de Guest Services para explicarle lo sucedido que ella organizó el detalle para nuestra tercera noche. "

"It was an OK resort. The food wasnt the best, if you find something you like stick with it, lots of variety but not too great. Steakhouse was super bland. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Quick and easy access to the beach. The best part of this trip was definitely all the staff ! Super friendly and attentive. Rene at the sports bar was the absolute best!! "

"- nice resort - good customer service from bartenders, cleaning ladies and waiters - very poor customer service from reception - building #1 he’s extremely noisy with blaring music from the entertainment until 11 PM. After that, you hear everyone walking up the stairs talking throughout the night. Couldn’t sleep all night. Should have been warned by reception about this. - this will hotel would not accommodate a late checkout - deserts in coffee shop were horrible. One of the worst was the cheesecake in a red cupcake liner. The red cupcake liner died the cheesecake red. Hazardous to health. - very difficult to get restaurant reservations. Could not try all restaurants. - biggest downfall: there there’s a lot of seaweed on the beach and in the water. Could not enjoy the beach on this vacation. The beach is not frequently cleaned. - reception staff was not apologetic about any complaints. I mentioned I would include this in my review and they didn’t care. - some restaurants servers ask you to leave a positive Google review and wait for you until you do it, leading to a high Google rating for this hotel even if it is not deserved"

"Beautiful large room with excellent amenities "

"This resort is awesome. The level of service and hospitality is the best I’ve ever seen at any resort. The staff is very attentive. You never have to ask a waiter for a drink. They clean your sunglasses for you and carry your towels and find you a spot to sit near the pool. It never felt crowded. The food is five star. The chef even made me special meals for breakfast to meet my dietary needs. The resort is beautiful. The beaches are clean. The place is spotless and there’s a number of different activities that you can participate in. The rooms are spacious clean, and they have a concierge for every building that makes it a personal experience. You never really have to wait for anything. Everyone is so pleasant. This was by far the best resort I’ve ever been to. Don’t make the mistake of choosing a different resort in Cancun. Definitely five stars."

"We recently stayed 9 nights at Majestic Mirage for our anniversary in an ocean-facing rooftop pool room, and overall we had a wonderful vacation. The room itself was fantastic—spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the mini fridge was stocked daily, which we really appreciated. One small thing we did miss was the aromatherapy in the room, which we had when we stayed at Majestic Elegance next door previously. It was such a nice touch there. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was very clean every day, and Vicky (our room attendant) made sure we always had plenty of fresh towels and everything we needed. Her attention to detail was appreciated. The staff throughout the resort were truly the highlight of our stay. A special thank you to Fili, one of the bartenders, who was super personable, friendly, and kind. He always took the time to talk with us, make great drinks and made every visit to the bar fun. José Louis, another bartender, was also fantastic and provided great service. Our butler Ana was sweet and helpful, always checking in and making sure we were taken care of. At the Italian restaurant for breakfast and lunch, Gasper and the lovely hostess there ( forgot her name sorry) were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to please. The food there was great and we looked forward to going back. We had a great 9-night stay, and the wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, and relaxing atmosphere made for a memorable vacation."

"A few items to note that I wish I knew booking this resort: 1. the resort is on a major road, there is no security and anyone can walk onto the property. 2. With the resort being on a major road all of the doors for the main building of the resort face the road, resulting in road noise (buses, cars, motorcycles) till late in the night and early morning are heard from your room. 3. To receive a resort towel for the pool you need to give your government ID as collateral. 4. The resort is non smoking (even on the beach) you have to go across the street to a smoking shack. 5. The standard rooms are across the street by the water park and you would have to cross the street or use the tunnel to access the main area and beach. The resort is run down, needs a major cleaning and a facelift. Beach is small, not enough lounge chairs (arguments happen due to this), deck is peeling paint, have to beg or tip well to receive name brand liquor (all they show on the bar is rail). I should say we do tip well but for the first two days we were told there was no Bacardi but on day 3 suddenly it was there hidden in a cooler. Will not go back. Will give another review on our room with pictures."
