"Positives: We had the best available cottage, located at the very back of the grounds. Since it was September, the location was quiet. It would be noisy during season since it is directly across the street from the stage and playground. The cottage was comfortable and had all of the necessary basics in the kitchen. "The most extensive morning breakfast in a beautifully appointed breakfast room. Check in was accommodated early for us. Julia very helpful and kind. A comfortable lounge in which to wait with a bar if desired. A large bright corner room with a lovely view of the ocean front and boulevard towards the port. Would definitely stay again."

"We used this hotel as a stopover before joining a cruise. For that purpose it was fine. The room was basic clean and provided an excellent place to sleep. Reception staff varied - on arrival extremely helpful good English very pleasant. On departing in the morning poor English and could not be bothered. Breakfast was adequate continental- more than enough to fill up prior to boarding. Best part of the hotel is its extreme proximity (100m) to the train station. We flew into Rome then used the train to the hotel - cost 13 Euros having purchased ticket at the info desk whilst waiting for luggage. 6 euros for bus to the terminal - bus stop less than 100 m from hotel. All in all the perfect stop over hotel pre cruise."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was nice, clean and we had a garden balcony. The rooms facing the water would have been ideal and whoever those lucky folks were, I’m sure enjoyed it. The view from the dining area was breathtaking! You need a reservation for dinner so we missed it. The menu looked very appealing though. Breakfast was light fare with coffee, tea, croissants, cereal and fruit. The coast line where the hotel sits was beautiful, straight out of a movie! The staff were super nice and helpful. The hotel arranged for a transfer from the airport to the hotel which made everything very easy for us. The driver was excellent and got us there fast and safely. The other guests were just as nice and friendly. We walked to the boardwalk, had dinner and enjoyed a gelato during the sunset. It was quite picturesque and memorable. The hotel arranged for our transfer from the hotel to our Royal Caribbean cruise making that just as easy. Had I known this was going to be my hotel experience before my Mediterranean cruise, I would have booked an extra day at this hotel! Believe me, several of the other guests said the same thing. This hotel is just what you need right before and after your cruise to catch yourself."
