"This hotel will go bankrupt because of the strategy they took to squeeze every dollar of their declining foot traffic. The convenience shop downstairs sells a bottle of water for $7+tax? That given there are no convenience stores anywhere nearby. What a rip off."

"The parking charge is ridiculous. My friend came for dinner and they wanted to charge her $40 to park because of a hockey game next door. There should be at least three hours free like the Wynn, and increasing the daily rate from $20 on weekdays to $25 on weekends is just plain greedy. Also a large area in the casino was curtained off for “construction.” Inconvenient, unsightly and it just had a bunch of slot machines and chairs piled up in there. Using the casino for storage?! Ridiculous."

"Our room was very clean and cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive. Front desk staff were also really helpful during the check-in process. We also appreciated that the elevators were broken up by floors since it made getting to our room much faster… even when the elevators were really busy. We really enjoyed the pool area but it was very crowded so you have to get there early if you want a chair. On the down side, the beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable. For the price paid for these rooms I expected better beds and more amenities. We would have appreciated a coffee maker. Some rooms don’t even offer a small refrigerator, but fortunately ours did. Overall, the hotel was very good. I felt like prices at the hotel were overinflated for just about everything but I think that’s true everywhere in Las Vegas, not just the MGM Grand."
