"The staff didn’t seem to have much urgency on helping guests. We were told on the phone that we could check-in early at 1pm, so we arrived early. We weren’t able to check-in until past 3:30. Had they not told us to come in early, we wouldn’t have. The staff was pretty unhelpful and didn’t seem to care that we were waiting so long (per their direction), stated that they were understaffed and that check-in wasn’t until 3. Again, fine if they didn’t not tell us it was ok to check-in early. We wasted our time in Florida. Shampoo and body wash were not filled, not noticed by the cleaning staff during pick up days. Room smelled of mildew."

"We did not expect the best for a $100 room. However, not only was the room perfectly clean, but it had a pleasant scent. The shampoo & conditioner in the dispenser in the shower was a nice quality. The entire outside of the hotel was in excellent condition. The trees, flowers, decor, pool area, parking area, lobby….everything was in tip top shape. I must add that there is an adorable restaurant called “The Knuckle Sandwich” and an Ice cream shop that you can walk to. The only disappointment was the soda machine in the pool area. The drinks came out hot. However, I believe that was the responsibility of an independent vendor."

"Check-in was ok an did not expect $50 damage deposit, room was clean except for laminate floor buckling, water had good pressure and tasted good, bathroom had no bars for steading getting out of tube, soap/shampoo was dry not soapy, refrigerator took forever to cool down and had no freezer to refreeze our ice packs, TV had no menu to find shows to see, bed was comfortable but needed extra blanket, a/c was not turn on prior to our arrival so room was really muggy, not enough convenient outlets for electronics, bathroom outlet was behind mirror an not usable."

"Clean rooms, beautiful location, helpful staff, great pool, grills and picnic tables right by the river. Nature lover's will be pleased. The cafe is no longer open since Hurricane Ian, but the hotel store has some snacks, so stock up on the groceries before you come. Do not lose the room key! They are very up front about the $50 charge for a lost key, and they mean it."
