"Staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. This was the same at breakfast and in the evening. Our room however was a little tired. New pillows needed. The bathroom was divided into two ‘cupboard ‘ type arrangements. Rather odd . The outside lighting which came on late In the evening lit the room quite brightly when trying to sleep. "Had issues with the bath plug and shower temperature. Otherwise spot on, great location, terrific grounds, could not fault the service. Room handy for dogs and you can park outside. Overall we will return, and it is recommended."

"This stay corrosponded with a 50th birthday we were invited to, and chose this accomodation as it was fairly close! We arrived, and no one answered the door, I then phoned, a very polite helpful gentleman let us in, and apologised profusely for not hearing the bell. I was upset at first, that my sister was on the ground floor, and I was on the top floor, but the gentleman carried up my case, I am 67 my sister 75!
