Hotel is nice. Breakfast is ample. Room was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, Londonderry is just beat up. Nothing was open. Kind of a disappointment as a tourist.

After reading some of the other reviews, I decided that I needed to make one of my own. We stayed here for eight nights and really enjoyed the accommodation. The breakfast every morning was wonderful with lots of variety. The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. Our room was at the back of the hotel which I think was preferable because it was less noisy at the weekend nights due to the location. I thought parking would be an issue, but once I figured out where we could park safely overnight, it wasn’t a problem at all. I downloaded an app and parked a few minutes walk away in a public car park and it was free from six at night till eight in the morning and so the charges for parking were minimal. The only night we had an issue was on the Saturday when parking was extremely limited, but otherwise I would definitely , stay here again. Victoria market was the parking lot we used. Thank you to the staff of the hotel for a wonderful stay.

Just what we needed in the centre of town - across the street from Tesco - 5 mins from the Peace Bridge and great walks along the Foyle not to mention the walls . The breakfast was brilliant value and set you up for the day and the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you !

One day break
We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn express in Londonderry, the were very friendly and welcoming great atmosphere in the hotel, location was fantastic, the room was great warm, comfortable and clean. Only one small thing tea & coffee in the room but nothing to stir it with. Would highly recommend for a short break we will be back.

A nice centrally located accommodation, I’ve stayed here serval times but this time there was an awful smell in the room (not sure if it was due to a smoker? Or the cleaning products?) but it never smelled that bad before. Opening the window only helped a little bit.

Budget hotel decent rooms,
Rooms are good . Excellent size. Ours was suitable for wheelchair access. Not needed by us but good to see. The breakfast was included. It was ok but nothing special scrambled egg was the only type on offer seemingly and the bacon looked like it had sat too long but it was still ok enough. But not great. The staff appear to multitask which makes the service a little sparse. Staff all friendly and helpful though. Would stay there again as it’s well priced

Fantastic hotel
From the check in to the check out the staff were very helpful and always on hand with anything we needed. Special shout out to Thomas who helped us on arrival and dealt with looking after our bags and check in. Room very clean and spacious, and even with road outside we never really heard much noise. Already looking at dates to return to this great hotel 👌
