Clean room, nice and quiet, heater in the room was appreciated.
Spotlessly clean room with adequate clothes storage and a nice clean shower room with fluffy towels. Water pressure in the shower was a bit low and pillows rather small which would have made the stay more comfortable. Staff on reception were very friendly & helpful.
The room was spotless and very comfortal bed, everthing looked brand new. I requested a quiet room which was perfect, ground floor overlooking a small court yard. Plenty of tea/coffe and fresh towels, a great super clean shower/bathroom. Plenty of places near by to eat, I did take snacks with me. I was very satisfied with my room.

Bed comfortabl
I did not stay at the property as I have spent a month trying to communicate with them via Expedia to let them know that even though I cannot cancel or amend my booking, that I would not be able to make the stay
As a single women travelling aLot there are a few things most hotels have so you don’t pack them so was bitterly disappointed to find, no hair dryer had to go down and ask looking wet and bedraggled, no iron, no wardrobe and 2 tea bags! Oh and on opening curtains no privacy glass, viewed from passing buses. Other hotels very near provide this for a very similar price
On the 2nd night of our 2 day stay we had no running water from 11pm in the evening until we checked out early the next day at 8am on account of the unsanitary conditions.
On trying to contact Travelodge I have been informed that I will have to wait 5 days for a reply to my concerns.
Staff were very friendly, clean, comfortable, but room was very small and the bathroom was small to but had a very good shower, we had to ask for a second a towel but it was not a problem. Location was great, many nice café a around, bus stop and underground were close by,
Did not have a lobby only a reception desk, there is no dinning room, you can get a breakfast box that you eat in your room, I would recommend of of them many other places nearby for breakfast
It is not a luxury but it serves the purpose very well, especially if you jut want to get up in the morning, get get and go out and not back until evening
The room a bit noisy because of the air conditioner. It we got used to it after the first night
We stayed 7 nights and we would stay there again
I am guessing, whatever I say, you will say it’s my own fault for booking that particular room? In any case the room descriptions lacked basic information like “no view/minimal light” from window” and “awkward shaped room leaving no room next to bed” and “no glass screen on shower tray, allows water to flood bathroom floor”; “includes free builders tea”; “full of little reminders that you booked the cheapest room”
Also, travelodge never sent me a booking confirmation, so I had to phone the hotel to make sure my booking had gone through.
The Travelodge Richmond is in a very good location. My room was big enough for a one night stay and nicely furnished. However, my room was far too warm and very stuffy. I could not work out how to reduce the room temperature, and had an uncomfortable night.
Great price for a simple clean room exactly where you want to be in Richmond. Central location with a comfy bed. No fuss and near everything. The lovely guy that checked us in was fast and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
