"We have had a wonderful short break in Brecon staying at the Borderers. Our host Gail was wonderful. She was knowledgeable about the area, always helpful with our little queries. Nothing was too much trouble. We had everything we needed in our room and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of it. The car park was a little tricky to manoeuvre in but with Gail’s help it was ok."

"Beautifully presented peaceful B&B with lovely views towards the Brecon Beacons from the breakfast room. We selected this B&B due to proximal convenience to the local "Y Promenad" parkrun, just a few minutes walk away, which I visited to collect my "Y" as part of parkrun's alphabet tourism challenge. Our breakfast was first class in quality and variety and our host Jen was very accommodating in serving breakfast early to meet my parkrun schedule. Our room was well-appointed and the bed comfortable. My only regret is our schedule prevented me from trying out the pristine ensuite shower."

"Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "
