Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and our room had a lovely view of the garden, plus a handy little kitchen area. James was great - had a good chat with him and he gave us loads of helpful recommendations for the area. Would definitely come back!
The room was tidy and ideal with the small kitchen area (due to dietary requirements, it is very helpful to have somewhere to prepare breakfast/lunch etc and this is what caught our eye when we were looking for a room for a couple of nights). Nice views of the mountains from the room.
The view from the room window was great. Bed and pillows were comfy. Unfortunately the chairs in the room were uncomfortable and bathroom needed a few hooks to hang clothes and towels especially as it is not ensuite.
This was such a great find when looking to stay near the brecon beacons, great location and close to everything you’d need during your stay.
The room was spotless and beautifully decorated and everything necessary is provided. The check in process was also hassle free.
Overall very worth a visit and very fairly priced.
We booked a studio for two nights which was on 1/F and clean. A bottle of milk and some cakes were offered, which tasted good. We could park in the driveway or on the street. We visited the Four Waterfalls and hiked to the Pen y Fan along the horse shoe route, both spots were within 30 minutes of drive. Tesco and restaurants were just within a few minutes.
We booked a night in The Rafters. Beautiful clean studio with living area on one side, bed on the other and small table to dine in the middle. Bathroom with shower. A kitchen to the side with all that is needed for a stay plus some milk in the fridge and welshcakes which was such a lovely little touch! We had a fabulous stay and if we’re ever in the area would be happy to stay again! ⭐️
The room was absolutely beautiful and was very impressive coming into the building. The views were great and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a ladybird infestation which was a bit concerning but nonetheless, the room was brilliant and well worth the money.
We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay.
A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso.
The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants.
There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well.
Beautiful house, I wish I could have stayed longer. Bed was very comfortable and the Mountain View was a great touch. Lives all of the cute decor. Will definitely be back. The Welsh cakes were tasty too.
