"Overall a nice stay and food was great. A few disappointing experiences such as when checking in we were “greeted” by Laura, I think at the front desk to get our room key. Laura needs to learn how to smile. She is the first person a customer sees and communicates with so the first impression wasn’t at all great. The same as checking out. The hotel interior is great, the customer service was pleasant but just ok and my room was a disappointment as it had the wirr of the kitchen fans going for the bulk of my stay and no view at all. If booking through a third party it seems to be a norm you could have a room experience like mine. If you want a great room ensure you pay for the view."

"Sadly despite best efforts from a friendly staff we had a poor experience with our room. On the first day there was a constant motor noise which we were told came from the kitchen and would end when service was over. Our room safe would not reset so we had to be provided with the access key. The shower was unusable as the temperature varied from too hot to scalding and despite hanging a clean me sign on the door the room was not serviced. "It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"
