"We were fortunate to have booked our 2 night stay in Inveraray at The George Hotel. Our room was upgraded to allow a large group of ladies to have rooms near each other. We truly lucked out. The room was beautiful, quiet and lovely water views. Every member of the staff was amazing at making us feel welcomes and like long friends. Yule even shared one of his cocktail recipes with us. We highly recommend you stay at The George Hotel if you will be in the area."

"This is close enough to Oban but still far enough away ... you felt like you were getting both a bigger city but also a cute hotel on the water. The restaurant/pub made it feel so cozy and the rooms were good and meet all the needs. It felt very comfortable."

"Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious."

"Location right on the loch"

"There was a mix up with the booking as we were down as dog owners!! Then we had no towels in the room which we had to chase down so we could shower before the meal we had booked. When we got to the restaurant there was more confusion about the booking. However, the restaurant staff were great and even after an issue with our meal order it was quickly resolved. The food was excellent."

"Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different."
