"Lovely historic hotel in an absolutely stunning coastal setting. Close to walks and the village of Port Isaac. You must like hills. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is part of an excellent local restaurant and a well-loved and cozy pub. We found the staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "Parking is not available at the hotel, and we did not drive, we were dropped off via taxi at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities. Staff were extremely helpful, food was good and fresh. Nice outdoor seating/eating area, also a cozy sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. Would definitely book here again."

"Our room was lovely with great views and good amenities. But the stay was very much let down by the attitude and lack of communication from the majority of the staff. When checking in I confirmed with the receptionist that we had a table booked in the Galley restaurant for dinner. On arrival in the bar for a pre-dinner drink my husband checked in with the waitress, who showed him our reserved table and told him to go through when we were ready. "Quiet, well-equipped, comfortable and in a good location with lovely beaches and places to visit all a short car ride away."

"Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"Loved this hotel. We stayed in one of the self catering lodges which was great. Lodge was spacious and had everythigg no we needed travelling with young children. We used the hotel swimming pool and explored the grounds. Great location, easy to park and charge EV and in an excellent location for what we wanted. Staff helped with any query we had. The only thing I’d love to see was a few more condements in the lodge, what would be available if we stayed in the hotel. Will definitely stay again"

"We had a lovely stay at this pretty and comfortable pod. Jean was very helpful and friendly and pod was very well equipped and laid out. No wasted space but plenty of room. Great shower, oodles of hot water and plenty of power points. Wi-Fi excellent and plenty of cosy touches. Thoroughly recommend for those who want a property that’s tucked away but the host is at the farmhouse nearby. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay and cuddles with your dogs!"
