"The barbecue in the back of the hotel is a secret garden. It’s so relaxing and calming. The rooms are nice and I guess what you expect for Mackinac Island. The bar staff is excellent. Dining service was adequate. Food was exceptional."

"This is a perfect hotel to stay at when you'd like to prioritize relaxing over the tourist stuff in the city. Just far enough away to have some quiet but close enough you can still enjoy downtown Mackinac. The staff was extremely helpful, I had a tv issue happen fairly late at night and one of the employees fixed it almost immediately. Would stay here every time i'm in the area."

"There's nothing exceptionally good or exceptionally bad about this place. It's a solid option for a night or two, and the price is fair for its location and condition. This could be a much nicer place with a refresh. One of the two beds was okay, the mattress of the other was ... difficult. The continental breakfast is forgettable; Barilik's Cafe is nearby and a much better, inexpensive option."
