Fantastic hospitality and attention to detail. Wonderfully comfortable with good food. I even got to help feed the sheep!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
If you are thinking about staying at Druminoch, do it!! This was the best B&B accommodation we have ever stayed in. The accommodation was kitted out to a very high specification with homemade fudge and biscuits in our room. Maggie was exceptionally obliging and cooked a delicious evening meal and a superb breakfast. The location is very rural which ensured an excellent night's sleep.
Drove for 7 hours and there was no answer at the door. The phone number provided is no longer live and no answers via emails. Spent hours driving around looking for alternative accommodation. Tried again later in the day. Still no answer. Stranded in the middle of nowhere! AWFUL!!! Tears!!!
Managed to get into a caravan site 14 miles from where we needed to be. No supplies but coped. Home now! Still nothing from this property. Presume it is no longer active. Impossible to contact Hotels.com.
Chose this B&B on the reviews of other travellers. We we're not disappointed. Beautiful setting, grounds immaculate, tasteful decor. Warm welcome matched by the quality of the cooking. If you want peace, quiet and great comfort in a wonderful part of Scotland, then you can't go wrong with Druminoch.
This property is unique. Maggie e mailed me the day before my trip to ask if I would like a meal when I arrived. As my journey was a long one this was a great bonus. The meal was excellent. On the hospitality tray was her own shortbread and home made fruit cake, as well as I tiny fridge with fresh milk which was replenished daily. I discovered to my delight that the bed had an electric blanket which was a bonus when I arrived back late at night. I don't even have an electric blanket at home! Th pillows bed linen and towels were of very high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. This lady knows how to make her guests really welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. It's in a very beautiful quiet part of the country beside beautiful glens and rolling hills. I loved my stay here.
Maggie is the most wonderful hostess and a brilliant cook! We wanted for nothing. The rooms were so comfy, the beds just to our liking and very nice linen. Then the delicious breakfasts and we had dinner every night. Perfect, in fact it was so good we came back and had a very peaceful unwind after some hectic sightseeing. Having spent five weeks in Scotland my husband voted Maggies scrambled eggs the best, and being able to have dinner, in house, made it so very relaxing. Maggie very kindly did several loads of washing and Euan answered a myriad of farming questions. They are situated very close to Kirriemuir in the prettiest of valleys, and we were able to do lots of easy day trips. Thank you to you both for the highlight of our trip
Lovely, luxurious place. Spotlessly clean. Was well looked after by Maggie. She is a great cook and was very accommodating to my dietary requirements. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you Maggie.
Maggie is a great hostess! She made us feel at home and the meals she prepared were excellent! As I am a coeliac she was very careful to check all food with me to ensure it was gluten free.
The rural setting of Druminoch was a bonus and it was easy to find.
The weather when we stayed was bitterly cold and we were given an extra heater for our room to make sure we were cosy.
We would definately recommend Druminoch to friends visiting this part of Scotland.
