"I stayed here one night before catching a flight back to London. The hotel sits on beautiful property. I saw quite a bit of wildlife and spent a couple hours bird watching whilst there. There appeared to be a lot of activities available besides the obvious golf. I ate dinner in the Brasserie and had breakfast in the main restaurant. "Location had a great view, about 35mins drive from Edinburgh waverly station. One less star because we found bugs in the toilet. Also, the toilet rolls/papers were poor quality which left us feeling uncomfortable to use. Make sure to get water bottles for your stay, because there’s none in the hotel. Breakfast buffet had limited options overall (less diverse). Bed was very comfortable. Overall a good stay and will definitely come back."
