"The room was large with two arm chairs and a sleigh bed that was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Stairs are steep but manageable. There is lots of parking and the buffet breakfast in the morning was lovely with both hot and cold items."

"An old hotel in the process if being modernised and upgraded. The staff were wonderful making up for any shortfalls in yhe building its self. The food in the restaurant was superb and the bar comfortable and accommodating. All in all a very enjoyable stay."

"We had a lovely, relaxing couple’s break at The George in Inveraray. It’s a great historic hotel with plenty of character and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, full of quirky charm, and having the freestanding bath right in the bedroom was a brilliant touch that made the stay feel that extra bit special. The food throughout our stay was really good, with plenty of tasty local options and a solid selection of drinks at the bar. The staff were friendly and attentive from start to finish, and the location is ideal for strolling around the town or down along the loch. Overall, it was a great, hassle-free getaway—we’d happily recommend it and stay again."
