"Wonderful host. Lovely breakfast."

"Loved the hotel and the view. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that at breakfast we were ignored several times. Brought meal out but no toast as ordered. Had to ask three times for toast and reply was will bring it out. Then we watched other tables receive meals and toast while we waited. Finally manager came by and we asked again. She immediately took care of it. Paid for breakfast with credit card. Then at check out it was on our bill. Manager, front desk, cleaning staff...

"The biggest issue with this hotel is the poor Wi-Fi. Ive stayed twice now in different rooms. If you sit at the desk there is a good chance you will constantly lose connection or fail to connect. On both stays I ended up using roaming. Super annoying. 2 laptops, 1 phone and a tablet same issue. Even when moving around the room connectivity was iffy. For the 2nd room the router was literally outside the room. The complaint made had no effect. It's not good enough for a 1st world country! Not...

Bedroom & bathoom were clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen and breakfast room was a communal experience where we met some fine folks to chat with. Great experience!"

"As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. "We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The towels were thin and scratchy. The skeleton key to our room made it very hard to open the room. The bathroom sink drained slow, the shower door kept going off its rail and the hot water took awhile to heat up (although there was a note about it in the room). Nice enough place but it didn’t work well for us. Thank goodness we only reserved one night."

"We had a great experience, but guests need to be warned that the property is three stories and there is no elevator so if you are bringing heavy luggage up to the third floor plan for it. If you have mobility issues request a lower floor."
