"Very nice stay with helpful staff! I accidentally double booked but the staff in the reception was helpful and resourceful and everything seems to work out fine. I also hade the possibility to leave my bagage at the hotel while I was sightseeing during the day after Checkout and get it afterwards. Very nice experience"

"We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort offered. The only issue was the dead bolt on our door would not allow the door to close at times. Once, my husband was able to lift and and turn it to fix it. The other time was at our departure and we were unable to get it fixed. We notified hotel personnel and they mentioned that they do stick sometimes and there is some trick to get them to unlock so the door can shut. This seems like an important detail to fix!"

"The front desk staff was very helpful during the check in process and changing of rooms. To no fault of theirs, we had to change rooms and I ended up in an hypoallergenic room which was perfect for me. Room was clean and had the most wonderful view. Room service was great."

"Breakfast was not good at all. They have better restaurants near by. Got there late and just wanted to get checked in, front desk staff talked sooooo much it took forever besides that the staff was nice and so was the hotel "

"Honestly, for the difference in price compared to the Washington Hilton (that was right across the street and where my conference was taking place), I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't pick this place. Only downsides were slow wifi (just barely above 1 Mbps on average!), one of the two elevators out of order during my stay(yet never really waited long to catch it), and the restaurant/bar not functional one night (wife having a baby, I heard....that's more important!), and nasty road construction going on (not the hotel's fault), I really enjoyed my stay. Very quiet and nostalgic, and in a great location. I will be back if ever coming back to the area! Great value. Friendly staff!"

"The hotel is nestled into the Glover Park section of DC near Georgetown. The hotel appears to have gone through a renovation which was well done. Check in is manual, but a quick process. Our room, a King deluxe was spacious and had a small kitchen with stove, fridge and sink, so you can apparently stay long term. The corner room had a view of the Washington Monument and some very nice G-town homes next door. Bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. Our dinner at Davino was also really good though the service was slow for a Sunday. Didn’t matter to us as we weren’t in any rush. We may be back as we will need to come back to G-town hospital in a couple of months and Glover Park is marvelously convenient at a good rate!"
