"This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view. "The staff were great, the rooms were lovely, and the only thing that let the place down was actually other guests who changed the controls on the toaster, to the degree that the rest of my breakfast went cold while I put my bread through 3 times, and then gave up - resulting in cold breakfast, stewed, cold tea, hard bread instead of toast - apparently it's an ongoing problem, which the staff perhaps need to monitor a bit more closely."

"The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean. "The hotel is very well situated, just a few minutes’ walk from the old town, making it an excellent choice for exploring the area. Parking is also very convenient, which is a big plus. "Breakfast was very good, good variety and hot. My wife is Lactose intolerant and wheat free. The staff were very helpful in making sure that she was given freshly cooked items. The room was clean ans Sraff very friendly. We didn't use the bar as were were attending an R.A.F. Reunion. The only disappointment was the cost of the car park."
