We enjoyed our stay we went deep-sea fishing with Sam from the spirit of adventure. Then his sister has a restaurant in town called silver seal and they cooked what we caught that day and it was absolutely fabulous
Nice lounge to meet others. Quiet place and location. Very good Indian resturant about 3 blocks away. Great access at an affoedable cost to the Isle of Sky.
The grounds, common room, and bedroom were great. It is a very pretty view with the gardens surround the home. The only issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but otherwise we loved our stay.

Its an old guest house, lots of rooms
Our room large enough for one suitcase, no closet or dresser , good for a single night stay
We enjoyed our stay in #10- the quad family room. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower was lovely- the temperature control that made sense! A refrigerator is always a plus for us as a family member is diabetic and we need to store insulin. The breakfast is basic but the instant oatmeal gave us a fair start to the day.
Room was clean and a decent size. The lobby area was clean but looked a little dated. There really isn’t a breakfast, it just a few snack bars and yogurt cups. I would return to this property.
Basic but comfortable. Bathroom faucet (#4) loose and needs fixing. Appreciated having coffee in room and would have liked to have at breakfast as well as some fruit for cereal. Enjoyed dinner at Saucy Mary’s nearby.
Property was clean and pleasant. Somewhat impersonal with check in, breakfast, and checkout without staff. I did not see a staff person during my two night stay. Breakfast was prepackaged food products, but was adequate. Room was nice and parking easy. Breakfast room pleasant. There was a number to call for emergencies.
Stayed with family for 3 nights. We loved this place. Ample parking spaces. Restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast lounge was stocked with cereal, milk, utensils etc. Only suggestion I'd give would be to replace the cutleries twice a day instead of once. Since people do bring takeaway food and eat in the lounge during the evenings, the cutleries get used up a lot and very few is left out for when we go for breakfast in the mornings. This is probably why there were reviews that used dishes were still on the food trolley.
It's a wonderful place to end a day of sight seeing and hiking. The place is beautifully tucked into a beautiful garden and is well maintained.
Check in was extremely easy. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable.
Lovely place and would absolutely stay again!

Basic accommodations. Generally clean. Bed mattress pretty worn. You can feel the coils through the mattress resulting in a poor night of sleep.
