"Let us be clear on what this place is. This residence is a series of rooms which are the extensions to someone's house. The accommodations are simple in that you have bedroom, bathroom, tv, internet and maybe a kitchen. If you are ok with this setup, then this is a fantastic place to stay.

"Sugar Bay is beautiful. It's quiet and smaller than super-resorts. The food was good - Sizzler steakhouse was outstanding. Getting to the hotel and accessing excursions was easy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend. "
"Simply spectacular. Great location ON THE BEACH. The beach is steps away and the beach chairs/umbrellas are perfect. The rooms are CLEAN. Great bathrooms and showers. The staff is so so so nice. Beyond nice. And importantly, the food at the restaurant is DELICIOUS. Happy hour helps a lot as well if you drink. Would definitely stay here again. "This is the 4th time we stayed at Pirate's Inn , and again were very happy with everything. This is the first time we had a continental breakfast, and it was quite good and healthy. For sure, we will stay there again if visiting Barbados in the future."
