"Staff are friendly- clean room- I have a bit of issue with smell- Brought my own Lavender room spray. It helps. Near the Grotto,which is good as I was with elderly. Bring your own thermos,if you are a chamommile tea person,as theres no kettle in the room. Although. I ask the night staff for a pot of hot water. Very kind male staff. Thanks to him. No daily water provided and room coffee is instant variety. Paper cups in bathroom and basic soaps. Nothing special. A solid 3 Star hotel that could rise to 4 star with a few minor upgrades."

"Clean room , stayed the night on route driving from London to Valencia and fancied a day in Pau. Easy location and very quiet so got a good night's sleep. Had a couple of drinks at the bar and served quickly. Was up and out early so didn't stay for breakfast. Overall clean, smart and room was lovely."
