Nice stay at Soma Bay

The territory is clean, beach is wonderful, food is nice (not so great choice but cooked very well). Service in the main restaurant is perfect. Room was a bit old but big and everything was working. Staff was friendly.

Service employees need lots of training. Out the four restaurants two were closed all the time and the other two imposible to get a reservation. The food in the buffet restaurant was average. The exterior around the pools and beach was amazing.

It was a wonderful resort and would stay here if we ever return and will recommend it to anyone. It is so beautiful there, we are just sorry we didnt get to spend more time there. You cannot walk to anything outside the resort. They will arrange a taxi for you if you want to go somewhere. They provided a shuttle to the cruise terminal. Hakem at the front desk was awesome! He spoke really good English and helped us with everything we needed. We purchased the all inclusive package (which was not much money additional), and would recommend this. There were plenty of chairs to sit either by the pool or the ocean (at least when we were just there at the end of April). They did have some activities if you wanted to participate. It looked like the kids program was really good, though we dont have little ones. They kept everything so clean and beautiful. Lots of water sports that you could do or pay extra for. There was even horse back riding (extra charge) and a guy with a camel that came around for rides and pictures (for a cost, we paid $5 euro for pictures, that he took with our camera that turned out great)

The first room we checked into was dirty and we had to change rooms. The second room was ok but we found that the heater didn’t work. We reported it, a maintenance man came up but it was never fixed. The property is nice once you get beyond the gates (that looked like you were entering a war zone). The staff was friendly but our experience was just ok.

Das ganze Team des Resorts war stets bemüht, unseren Urlaub sehr angenehm zu machen. Gleich am Anfang wurden wir von Kannan und seinem Rezeptionsteam herzlich willkommen. Das Resort selbst ist nicht das neueste, jedoch gut gepflegt. Man merkt, dass das Management dahinter ist, damit alles passt. Eine tolle Lage, vor allem für Wassersportler, denen 2 Surfstationen zur Auswahl stehen. Rundherum gibt es durch die Alleinlage eigentlich nichts zu besichtigen, aber in einer Woche wird einem im Resort nicht langweilig. Ich kann das Palm Royale Resort weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren über den Silvester da. Das Hotel war sehr schön geschmückt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker und für jedes Geschmack (vegan, vegetarisch, Fleisch, fisch). Ms.Sindy, die ich persönlich nicht kennengelernt habe, hat paar Tagen später, den Geburtstag meiner Tochter, besonders organisiert. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel vom ganzen Herz weiter empfehlen.

Je vais essayer d'être le plus utile possible, L'hôtel est très grand et super beau, vous aurez vraiment l'impression d'être dans un 4*+, l'équipe est super sympa et très serviable avec beaucoup d'attention. les détails ci dessous Buffet : Très bon et varié ! et mieux que les restaurants à la carte qui sont un peu une arnaque (réservation 24h à l'avance, la queue pour réserver dès 8h du matin, les meilleurs plats sont payants même en all inclusive !) chambre : grande est correcte, mais mérite un sérieux coup de jeune (mobilier un peu villetiot) Piscine : magnifiques ! mais avec le vent (constant) vous allez avoir froid dès que vous sortez de l'eau ! encore plus compliqué si vous avez des enfants en bas Age, vous serez très mal à l'aise (frigorifié) même si il fait 35 dehors. Plage : la plage est belle mais c'est pas de la folie, le sable est un peu rugueux (tout le temps calme malgré ce satané vent, grâce à la baie qui protège). Point négatif, les imbéciles qui mettent leurs serviettes sur les transats des 6h du matin !!!! et pas de place disponible après …. il y une partie réservée au adultes sans musique ... Enfants : très déçu, car sur les photos on peut voir des toboggans gonflables (dégonflés 1/2j à cause du vent encore !) et donc pas grand choses pour les enfants en journée à part le kids club mais bon ..... En soirée il y a un pestacle quotidien de 30 min à 21h(en russe et allemand....) très mal programmé du fait que le buffet ferme à 22h ! Merci à l'équipe !

Meget flot hotel. God service og maden er af god kvalitet. Ikke så mange gæster og f.eks. pool var under renovering. Men også lavsæsonen.

My kids couldn't use the pools, the water was too cold. The inflatable pools.were only available for two days during our stay and water there was also super cold. The food is very basic, almost no fruits. Coffee is terrible, only instant coffee or american coffee at breakfast. Service is average, not very helpful and not that nice for a 5 star hotel with that price. I only liked the view and the beach. Though our family room was nice and spacious too.

Beach was one of the most amazing beaches I’ve been to in Egypt. It was a clear spotless sandy beach, surrounded by palm trees all over their long shoreline. Water is crystal clear, very convenient for all family members. Kids club was amazing, it operates from 8 am until 5 pm, it was very clean with nice activities for kids. Sara who is handling the club was lovely, she took care of the kids, and you can trust your kids are safe with her, while taking some alone time anywhere you want. Food was extremely great, in terms of variety and taste, chefs and waiters were very friendly and welcoming, providing an ultimate service to everyone. The F&B manager was ALWAYS helpful. You would always see him around the restaurant checking on everyone, he was so dynamic, making sure everybody is well served and happy. Animation team was very nice and spontaneous, although I don’t have a lot of interest in this area, but they were really nice and they understand very well how to interact with each guest. They were never too pushy, yet very encouraging, they provided a big variety of programs, from Aqua gymnastics, stretching class, mini disco for kids, entertainment shows. And all their activities were light, fun and enthusiastic.

The resort was amazing from the entrance to our room. Service was excellent. The beach was crystal clear. Best beach ever. Animation team were exceptional. We loved it and sure will come back again.

Das Hotel hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen das Personal ist hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und sehr menschlich. Sie tun die Arbeit, aus Herzen mit Leidenschaft man fühlt sich wie ein König. Besonders möchte ich Herr Malak, Captin Walid, Habibi, Valida, für Foto Mohamed für Parfüm Peter und einfach bei alle Bedanken.
