"What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. We stayed in the David Bowie shrine suite which is fabulous and fun for any fan but the bed is very “Low” so bear that in mind if you have an issue with knees or back. Decor - loved the blind and shower curtain in particular. This booking was a surprise from my husband and I couldn’t have been more delighted."

The bathroom was clean but there’s was no storage at the sink and the shower stall was small. The location is perfect for a short break so I would stay there again and bring a portable fan."

"The hotel staff were amazing. We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower. It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty. Thank you"

"Very lovely romantic room with a slipper tub which we were not expecting! The staff are so helpful, my husband bumped his head and cut it and they gave us sticking plasters and antiseptic wipes! Husband said breakfast was wonderful. The best bit was the bed though - literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were like clouds - so good I even asked the hotel to let me know where they buy them and they made the effort to do that and emailed me all the details. "This hotel was right next to the train station so easy access along with close to being near the beach and fun market shop so the location was 10 stars. The staff was wonderful and the room was clean but very tiny."

Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park. Room 407.
