"Excellent and cooked to order breakfast with many options. Cocktail bar has some very interesting choices too. We stayed in the David Bowie shrine suite which is fabulous and fun for any fan but the bed is very “Low” so bear that in mind if you have an issue with knees or back. Decor - loved the blind and shower curtain in particular. This booking was a surprise from my husband and I couldn’t have been more delighted."

"I was looking for a convenient place to stay near Brighton, and this turned out to be an excellent choice. Communication was great throughout, with quick and helpful responses to any questions I had. The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep, and the free on-street parking nearby was a real bonus. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free stay."

"What a brilliant hotel! Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. Excellent location, opposite the i360. We walked from the station (through the lanes and along the seafront). Tea/coffee etc. "

"The lift was out of order on my second morning when I was leaving. I had four bags with me which in total were too heavy to take down four flights of stairs in one trip. (I'm 76 and was on my own). Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park. Room 407. The en suite bathroom was up four steep steps from the bedroom. The bathroom door had a self-closing...

"We enjoyed a large English Breakfast that was served with fresh ingredients. There were vegetarian options."

"The best thing I can say about this place is that the staff memberqho greeted me was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. That said, I was very tired after a very full day, so I probably could have fallen asleep on concrete. The room was grimy and shabby. It didn't look like it had been cleaned particularly well. Surfaces were wiped, but I don't think the carpet had been hoovered. I won't be staying there again."

"Don’t book here unless you are happy with broken furniture, stained carpets with burn marks, curtains hanging off a single hook and not covering windows. A bathroom window in the shower/bath facing the street without frosting or efficient covering. Old bed, full of lumps and ridges, only fit for the rubbish tip, stale cigarette smoke wafting through passages and random pieces of furniture and hoover in the passages. Staff catnapping in “waiting area”"

"If I could give it zero stars I would. An absolute shambles of a place. Do not bother staying here. We are disabled and were put on the 5th floor with no access to a lift. None of bedrooms advertised online was not what we stayed in. The windows were moldy, broken, held together by tape, gap at the bottom so constant draft coming through. No soap provided in the bathroom, no mat in the shower my husband nearly slipped. No one to speak to on the front desk as everything is done via WhatsApp....

"We arrived at 6:30pm and were told there was not a room for us. The staff were unable to help and unwilling to provide more information on who owns the hotel. I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel. Stay away."
