"Excellent location near Lincoln Center, Fordham University Manhattan campus and Central Park. Very comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom, but very good shower with good water pressure. I was lucky and had a nice view from the window overlooking Lincoln Center. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating at this independently-owned hotel. Great prices normally but I paid more during surge pricing because of a popular event at Lincoln Center. Restaurants and shopping are nearby, we went to Target which is only a couple blocks away for groceries and other things. Friend woke up to someone practicing a musical instrument, but I sleep with earplugs and did not hear anything. "

"The room had obviously not been cleaned when we arrived. There were dirty socks on the floor, hair in the shower, scuff marks on the bedding, etc. When we emailed customer service we got a response that was clearly written by AI. It said cleaning stuff would be coming to check it in the morning. Cleaning staff didn’t come at all during our 3 day stay. "

Staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, especially Sean and Maria at the front desk! Breakfast vouchers for the bakery/cafe next door were plentiful, though the lines were long. Ideal location for exploring the Upper West Side, with a subway stop just two blocks away. A hidden gem!!"
