"Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂"
"The View was a wonderful find. Our room was spacious and clean with facilities that you would expect in a top notch hotel. It was great to sit on the private patio and look out across the countryside. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was good with a varied choice of breakfast items. "

"The location for the Peaks is fantastic and it’s more affordable than staying in the Peaks itself. We stayed as a family of four and have stayed here before prior to its rebrand but it could do with a bit of TLC. The lady on the front desk was very friendly and also engaged with our young children which was nice. There is a bar/restaurant connected to the hotel, where we had a drink, but we didn’t eat there. "Take yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat."
