"Literally only needed a room to rest in the night before my son’s surgery and this hotel was perfect. The gated parking area was nice, the hotel was literally 5 mins walking from a shopping center (we ate at waba grill and it was delicious). I was surprised at how quiet it was, we were in the second floor facing the courtyard and I never heard anyone above me or outside of our room. The hotel staff was very nice and personable. The bed and pillows was surprisingly comfortable ( go figure, the one time I remember to bring my own pillow I don’t need it.) the rooms have a microwave and mini fridge, they also have a gift shop and vending machines (and a bistro below). The only thing most people might complain about as lack of coffee machine in the room; normally this might be an issue for my husband who drinks coffee but since my son had to fast we decided to also fast so the coffee wasn’t missed. If we had to go to LA again, this would be somewhere we’d come back to stay."

"There was no breakfast. The parking was available, I didn’t struggle finding parking or any problems of that sort. the room was pretty clean no complains and the staff I didn’t do much interaction but the person I spoke to in the front was great and very helpful."

"The Whiskey Hotel hits the spot. We had a king bedroom that faced the Hollywood sign and literally I don't think there's a better view in a Hollywood Hotel. Everyone was friendly and nice. The restaurant is superb and the drinks were better than the local bars. They had an amazing special of two steaks, an appetizer, bottle of wine, and desert for $100 bucks. If you're a couple you know you are already spending that much and not getting half of what they throw in so it's an amazing deal. People that complain about the area have obviously never been to LA or an actual sketchy part of town, the surrounding area is harmless, some interesting characters sure but if your car is in the parking garage you're gonna be ok. I walked to numerous bars and my wife walked solo as well. It's an older converted building with a beautiful interior if the rooms are "too small" go book the local roach motel. The king bed was great, the sitting chairs very comfortable, the bathroom was massive and the shower had a bench. I think some people just like to complain. I don't see myself coming back to LA anytime soon but if I did I would look here no problem."

"This is a very nice hotel right on Hollywood Blvd. Room was clean, well furnished, staff was helpful. The hotel is beautiful, classic hollywood charm. Easy to get uber/lyft to area attractions."

"This property was great for location. If you want to walk to the Hollywood Bowl to see the most amazing concert. This is your place. That being said for the money it was very bare bones, the beds were very uncomfortable and the road noise sounded like it was in the room with you. I'd like to give it a 5 but I can't. I'd also like to give it a 3 but the rest my party won't let me. So take this how ever you like. Location great the rest mehh."

"Basic hotel just what we needed for the night. Check in staff very friendly and helpful. They do provide hairdryer and shampoo upon request, fridge only in room. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet. VERY close to POI on Hollywood Blvd and Hollywood Bowl, within walking distance and all public transportation. We used the bus from Burbank Airport to arrive. Would use again if in the area."
