"Staff are excellent - couldn’t have been more helpful! Hotel is ideally located, 3 min walk to old town (uphill) and 4 mins walk to beach promenade. Very smart boutique hotel, not too busy and in a perfect location. 6 min walk to tram station with links to Alicante and Denia. Altea has lots of good restaurants and not many bars so very relaxed and safe."

"Excellent stay - couple of little niggles in the room that could do with attention (peeling wallpaper in kids room, few cobwebs, bit of mould in the bathroom), but that is with me being picky! The grounds, pools etc were all very clean and tidy, no rubbish so everything is very well maintained and all public toilets etc were really clean. Buffet food was great as a whole with lots of choice for everyone and drinks both non-alcoholic and alcoholic were also great, with lots of choice. Liked the token for cups system, much better than using single use plastic everywhere. Pools were great and cannot fault the lifeguards, personally saw them attend to two incidents within seconds! Only niggle with the pools is the rough base in the big pool led to a few scrapes and the colour of the stones showing where it gets deeper could be a darker colour as the two incidents would probably not have happened if that was the case. Staff everywhere were super friendly, helpful and attentive at all times. Kids club was great for little ones, could be more for pre-teens to do at their awkward age and a decent park would be an amazing addition. We also loved the fact we could go back and forth between Pirates Island, the Aqua park and the 'zoo', meant the kids had no reason to moan about being bored. Younger ones loved the 'disco' but again there could be more for the 8-12 age bracket. Would definitely visit again and kids cannot wait to come back, so thank you!!"

"The room was clean and had everything we needed with fridge, aircon, great shower, and comfy bed. The outdoor areas are outstanding. We stayed in the Aloe Vera room with a private patio via a spiral staircase from the bedroom. The view was beautiful day and night with shade and sun. The pool and gardens were a haven and so peaceful. The plants, flowers and design were just fabulous with a number of private seated areas. The food was delicious and the honesty bar was really helpful if we didn’t feel like a 10 minute walk into the old town or supermarket. Cake, sandwiches, crisps, olives, nuts, ice cream, alcohol or soft drinks all stocked. Aranza looked after us perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful stay."
