A true find and we will be returning. Superb breakfast and luxurious comfort in bedroom and lounge. The gardens have woodland walks that we enjoyed as well as somewhere to sit.
Comfortable room- good facilities- fridge, kettle and coffee machine- fresh milk, tea bags and pods provided.
Continental breakfast was good, cooked breakfast in sister hotel was also very good.
Lounge room was great space for all of the group to congregate in the evening
A wonderful place to stay in St. David's; within walking distance of the city center and the cathedral and Bishop's Palace. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There's a fantastic continental breakfast, as well as an honesty bar in the afternoon/evening.
Absolutely magical place. Gorgeous, inside and out, with stunning gardens (including a delightful walking path through the surrounding woods). And the staff -- we met Maria, Gary, Alison, and at least one other staffer whose name escapes me -- are terrific!
I don't mean to sound over-the-top, but I honestly don't expect to ever stay anywhere this heavenly again. It's perfect in every way. Thank you, thank you!
A wonderful place to stay in St. David's; within walking distance of the city center and the cathedral and Bishop's Palace. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There's a fantastic continental breakfast, as well as an honesty bar in the afternoon/evening.
beautifully renovated building, with friendly, low key approach to service - you really feel like staying in your friend's house (even had to pick up keys in sister hotel). Beautiful national park location with calming views towards fields and woodlands. if you look for serenity, its your place!
The bedroom was well laid out and spacious with all the facilities from large tv, USB charging to coffee machine. The bed was large and very comfortable, the shower room was to a very high standard and again spacious, our bedroom was situated in an annex, the main house had a large sitting room with an honesty box for drinks, overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
This property is part of another hotel about a five minute drive away. It was not made clear that you had to check in and get your key there. It was a frustrating experience after a long day’s drive.
Superb!
Ever so slight improvement touches to bring it up to ultimate standard; bigger TV in lounge (could easily accommodate a 50”) and, because of the configuration of the bedroom, the only location for a TV would be in the bed footer (and they are available).
If dining at the Twr y Felin maybe a transport service could be offered. It would not need to be permanent but that would make for a first class service.
We didn't actually stay at this hotel because it was closed for some refurbishment. We were uograded to better accommodation at the nearby Tyr y Felin hotel, which was first class
Beautiful tranquil setting. Few minutes walk into St David's. Breakfast was excellent and can't fault the team who work there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
I have never slept better in a hotel. The bed was comfortable and the surrounding area was absolutely quiet, except for occasional bird chirping. The bathroom was large with a very comfortable soaking tub. The full breakfast was outstanding with many choices. The location is very private yet we were able to walk into town for dinner. I highly recommend for a couple get-away.
Stayed in Garden suite - very spacious and extremely peaceful accommodation. Location of hotel perfect - a few minutes walk from restaurants and cathedral but definitely rural location with little used road to beach. Not a place for families with young children as they would spoil it for those looking for a quiet break. Staff very friendly and efficient but no overnight room services or porter unless you call the sister hotel. We didn't try the evening meals (which are also at sister hotel with transport provided). For us it was perfect as we wanted peace and quiet with access to coastal walks etc. Only (very) slight niggle was the tiny bottle of milk in the room fridge - a whole pint would be better!
Everthing about our 2 day stay was perfect. My wife and I were totaly spoiled and made to feel special like good friends. The attention of the staff was exceptional with no request too much. The breakfasts were top class and the the meal we had at the sister hotel on the second evening lived up to and exceeded it 2 rosette reputation. I even managed to practice my somewhat limited Welsh during our visit. All the staff were outstanding in their contribution to our stay and they all do their general manager Paula proud.
