"My room was immaculate. no on suite bathroom with my room. The shared bathroom was huge with both a shower and a bath. Continental style breakfast was great with a large selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc."

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level generator/machine) but ear plugs helped at night. Possibly only an issue for light sleepers guests who are noise sensitive. Staff were very dog friendly but there is nowhere to walk the dog off-road and no poop bag bins. We didn't eat at the hotel but if the brownies are anything to go by I imagine it is lovely. Nice place to stay. "

"I came to Dorchester to see their Museum and Art Gallery and the National Trust property Max Gate (Thomas Hardy House). Bramlies was near the center of town and walking distance to everything. I was happily impressed by my room and the wonderful hospitality of Alison and her mother. They were cheerful and helpful. Alison provided a lovely breakfast which included a full jar of her homemade marmalade - you choose the flavor! Delicious! "

"What a fabulous find! Chose it because of it's high rating, and it certainly met my expectations. Very clean, very good quality furnishings, bedding and toiletries. The breakfast was first class. Karl and Jocelyn are lovely and made my two night stay as easy and comfortable as possible."

"Lovely cottage, i chose to self cater and the cottage had everything i required. A little further from my work but worth it. Not sure if you're aware, bathroom cold tap as a slight leak. Thank you for a comfortable few nights "

"The property was dirty , the pull out bed had a mouse nest chewed into it , the kitchen had mouse dropping and smelt of urine , we put out a small rodent that had come up from behind the sink in the bathroom, the bed and pillows were old , uncomfortable and lumpy , we are so disappointed. And would not recommend to anyone . We had to eat out due to the kitchen being dirty and unsafe with a mouse clearly present . "
