"Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good although of the two days I had breakfast I was only asked once for my room number to confirm I'd paid for it. I could have had it for free on the first day. I liked the option of getting a voucher at the bar if I opted not to have my room cleaned. About a 10 min walk to the university and about 15 mins from the station so a good location for me. I would certainly return here when visiting Essen again."

"The hotel was located in a very convenient location, with plenty of amenities nearby, most importantly: a stone's throw from the Steele railway station. The premises were spotless, quiet, the rooms vast, cosy and all areas of the building felt well-maintained, and comfortable."
